7th consortium meeting in Heidelberg
Event
15/09/2025

Last week, our international consortium met in Heidelberg to exchange updates and ideas.

We shared our experiences with recruitment across sites, discussing what works well and where we can learn from each other. These practical exchanges are key to reaching people who have completed cancer treatment and want to take part in our study.

We also held an interdisciplinary working group on the opportunities and challenges of working across different fields and countries. It was a constructive discussion that highlighted the value, but also the challenges, of diverse perspectives, and we will together develop a white paper to share our insights more widely.

All of this work supports our joint goal: to study the effects of an online exercise intervention for people after cancer treatment, with the hope of reducing their side effects and improving quality of life.
